Group Childbirth Classes $275/ 6 weeks
or Choose a Class for $50 each
Class One: Nutrition and Position
​

We will discuss the most important nutrients necessary for a healthy pregnancy. We will also go over specific pregnancy exercises to help prepare your body for the act of giving birth. Learn how to get Baby in the best possible position to make for an easier labor and birth.
Class Two: Natural Birth Process
Learn how your body works during first stage labor, pushing and after birth. This class is a must to understand the birthing process and how to work with your body.
Class Three: Planning Your Birth
Having a written birth plan helps your caregivers easily understand how you would like your birth to go. Even if you plan to birth at home, a backup plan for the hospital can be very helpful. There are many options to include for both the mother and baby, and we will discuss them all in detail.
Class Four: Coping Techniques and The Role of a Coach
Relaxation techniques, a hands-on labor rehearsal, and how your support person can help you through labor.
Doula Services Upon Request and Based on Availability
Labor Doula fee $850
(includes 2 meetings before birth, continuous labor support, and 1 postpartum meeting in your home).
Childbirth classes combined with doula support is the best scenario for achieving your goal of a natural birth.
Date/Time/Location
We can meet at a time and place that meets your needs for condensed classes. My home is available and located in Waterloo, Illinois. Group classes will be held in my home or in south county.

Class Five: Breastfeeding Basics
A comprehensive class to prepare you to successfully breastfeed your baby.
Private Classes

Class Six: All Things Baby

From newborn care, to babywearing, to vaccines, we will discuss all the hot topics of how to care for your little one after their big debut.
Class Materials
Workbooks are included in the cost of the full series and are made by Plum Tree Baby.
